Fauvism
Fauvism was a group of painters that worked in the early 20th century. They were also considered modern artists. Their style emphasized painterly qualities of simplified lines, subject that was easy to read, exaggerated perspectives, and brilliant but arbitrary colors. The leaders of the movement included Henri Matisse and Andre Derain.
